About Hand on Heart

Hand on Heart's vision is to grow an energy therapy practice centering on Reiki that brings well-being to others, spreads awareness of Reiki and similar healing modalities, and mentors others in the healthcare community.  Our mission supports this vision by bringing a sense of peace and well-being to others through healing, teaching, inspiration, and love.  We intend to inspire good in the world by living by example. ​

Who We Are
Stefanie Hackenberg has been practicing Reiki since 2011 with Reiki Master-Teacher and Medical Reiki Master certifications.  After living 23 years in NYC/NJ doing IT Global Project Management on Wall Street she relocated to the DC metro area in 2014.  Stefanie loves animals, dancing, science fiction, the outdoors, foreign languages, and tries to see the beauty within everyone.
